Yes. Your farm is saved entirely on your own device β there's no account and nothing is stored on a server, so it can't be lost to an outage on our end. It can be lost if you clear your device's app data or delete the app, so if you want a backup, use Export my data in the in-game settings menu (βοΈ) to save a copy you can keep.
The farm runs on its own clock, whether or not you have the app open. Checking in occasionally is the intended way to play β weather changes, grass grows, and sheep live out real days on their own.
No, that's by design. Sheep live long, full lives and eventually pass of old age, at which point they're laid to rest with a small headstone you can tap to read. It's meant to be gentle, not alarming β if it caught you off guard, that's fair feedback and worth telling us about.
Email us at the address above with a quick description (and a screenshot or screen recording if you have one) β that's the fastest way to get it looked at.

A few one-line answers to what you'll actually see happen out in the pasture.
The flock stops grazing and huddles together near the farmhouse until it passes.
Every sheep moves through lamb, hogget, and adult stages, picking up pace and confidence as they age.
The youngest of the flock stick to lower ground until they're grown.
A quiet passing leaves behind a small grave marker out in the pasture.
It blankets the ground during a storm and melts away once the sun returns.
Sun, rain, wind, dust, hail, and snow roll through on their own schedule.
The flock eats, sleeps, and roams entirely on its own β you're just there to watch.
A few taps and she's charmed; keep going past that and she'd rather be left alone. Enough taps and her wool visibly poofs up for the rest of your visit.
A minimap in the corner shows the whole pasture at once β tap or drag on it to jump the camera straight there.
The flock avoids paths that cross water when it picks somewhere to go next.
The farm's soundtrack is a shuffled playlist of seven original tracks, all by Dragon Studio, licensed via Pixabay. A different mix plays each time you check in.
